CG Modeler
Role and responsibilities
- Modeling characters, props, and environments based on 2D concepts.
- Following 2D concepts accurately and working within the established style of the show.
- Ensuring all models meet the creative and technical requirements of the production.
- Working with the rigging department to ensure all assets are production-ready for the animation team.
- Communicate effectively to convey why assets are built in a particular way.
- Draw on previous studio experience to implement the best working practices.
- Respond positively to feedback, making refinements as needed.
- Work to the required deadline and to consistently high standards.
- Communicate clearly and keep the Production Management team up to date with progress.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CG Animation workflows.
- Extensive knowledge of Maya.
- Python and Rigging knowledge is a bonus.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Proactive approach.
RIGGER
Role and responsibilities
- Working closely with the Modelling team and Animation Director to ensure that all rigs are production-ready for the Animation Team.
- Create, maintain, and support animation assets throughout production
- Working closely with other teams to solve problems, should they arise
- Review existing rigs and suggest possible improvements Requirements
- Strong understanding of CG Animation workflows
- Extensive knowledge of Maya
- Strong eye for detail
- Proactive approach
ANIMATOR
Role and responsibilities
- Producing high-quality animation based on the brief provided by the Animation Director / Series Director.
- Ensuring all animation is produced and delivered in the established style.
- Managing your time efficiently to meet agreed production deadlines.
- Responding positively to feedback and addressing notes where needed.
- Communicating clearly and keep the Production Management team up to date with progress.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CG Animation workflows.
- Thorough knowledge of Maya.
- Rigging knowledge is a bonus.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Proactive approach.
LIGHTING AND COMPOSITING ARTIST
Role and responsibilities
Working with the CG Supervisor to bring life to the final rendered shots, you will be responsible for:- Design and implement lighting for environments based on the established style of the project.
- Compositing final shots in Nuke.
- Managing your time efficiently to meet agreed production deadlines.
- Draw on previous studio experience to implement best working practices.
- Respond positively to feedback, making refinements as needed.
- Communicate clearly and keep the Production Management team up to date with progress.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of CG Animation workflows.
- Experience of using Nuke in production.
- Rigging and Python knowledge is a bonus.
- Strong eye for detail.
- Proactive approach.
