OKIDO was founded by scientist Dr Sophie Dauvois (PhD BSc PG Dip.) and artist Rachel Ortas, who saw a clear gap in children’s publishing: engaging, age-appropriate STEM learning for younger children that truly inspires curiosity.
Sophie has spent her career translating complex scientific ideas into playful, accessible experiences for young minds.
Paired with Rachel’s imaginative artistic vision, OKIDO was created to spark curiosity, fuel creativity, and nurture a lifelong love of science and art.
